Manu Mele literally means Bird Song in Hawaiian. Each morning, Manu Mele Bed & Breakfast is visited by many different types of birds. These birds come and share the comforts of Manu Mele. You, too, can share this experience with us and wake up to the songs of many birds.

Here at Manu Mele, comfort and privacy are our topmost priorities. We want to make your visit a pleasant and memorable one.

We are approximately 40 minutes away from the Airport and are located in the lush, tropical, windward side of Oahu [Gathering Place in Hawaiian] in the town of Kailua.

Apart from the exquisite beaches, Windward Oahu offers golf courses, hiking trails, nature walks, botanical gardens, and good restaurants. It also has bike ways which are perfect for the recreational and serious athletes.

Take H1 east from the airport; then, take route 61 north through the Pali Tunnels, past Castle Hospital, through Kailua until it ends at the "T" junction of Kuulei Rd. & S. Kalaheo Ave. (about 18 miles). Turn left at S. Kalaheo Ave. and continue until you reach Kailuana Pl., the corner house on the right is Manu Mele (Bird Song). 1.5 miles from from the Kuulei Rd. & S. Kalaheo Ave. Junction.
