Holualoa Inn

Located in the heart of the Kona Coffee Belt on the Big Island of Hawaii, the Holualoa Inn is a spectacular Hawaii estate located on the slopes of Hualalai, overlooking the world famous Kona coast. Situated in the middle of Holualoa Village on the western shore of the Big Island of Hawaii, the Inn is surrounded by 50 acres of pasture land, coffee orchards and lush grounds. Abundant with tropical gardens, bamboo groves, ginger, papaya, breadfruit, pineapple, coffee, avocado and citrus trees, our Big Island Hawaii accommodations combine the tranquility of a private estate with the convenience of its proximity to the general store, coffee shop and art galleries of Holualoa Village. In addition, the Inn is a few minutes away from the Kona Coast and its restaurants, shopping, beaches, golf, hiking, water sports and tourist sites.

The Holualoa Inn has been in operation since 1987. It is one of the first and most well established Bed & Breakfast Inns on the island of Hawaii. The Holualoa Inn has been under the direction of Thea Brown since 1996. Her charm, enthusiasm, attention to detail and professionalism is shared by the rest of our employees and consistently felt by our guests in the way the property is maintained and the level of service they receive.

It has been featured in numerous national and international publications including: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, Gourmet Magazine, Bride and Vogue.

The Holualoa Inn was voted the "Best Bed and Breakfast of the Island of Hawaii" by West Hawaii Today in 2001 and 2002.

The Holualoa Inn is a proud member of: Hawaii Visitor and Convention Bureau and Hawaii Island Bed and Breakfast Association.

The Holualoa Inn is a combination of tasteful luxury and island style. The open air atmosphere of the house helps capture soft tropical breezes and fragrances. It features fabulous interiors, including sitting rooms, gazebos, a covered lanai, living rooms and six suites, each with its own private bathroom. All the rooms are impeccably maintained and designed to capture the outstanding views of the coastline and the grounds. Each room has a private bathroom, king or queen size bed, and most have beautiful eucalyptus floors and spectacular views of Holualoa HI.
