Hilo Bay and frequently docking cruise ships. At 750
feet elevation, the gentle cooling trade winds encourage the
orchids, tree ferns and colorful foliage to dance their
hula. Watch the sunlight change the shading on Mauna
Kea's volcanic slopes. After enjoying your refreshing
Hawaiian juices, settle in to your colorful appointed
polynesiah suites. Choose the Hawaiian Tropical suite
with a queen bed and private bath, or the Blue Ginger suite
with high vaulted ceilings, and it's spaciousness, which can
sleep 4 people and a private bath with twin basins.
Wheel chair accessibility and DSL hookups are added
features. Conveniently adjoining both rooms is the
guest-only sitting room offering a window seat and easy chairs
plus an extensive library of Hawaiian volumes. While
savoring your Hawaiian continental breakfast, you will also
enjoy the picture window view of lush tropical foliage and a
microwave are close by for your use. Known for our
verdant lush surroundings, the Hilo area is home to Boiling
Pots State Park, Rainbow Falls, Littuokalani Park, Kaumana
Caves, all a few minutes away. Akaka Falls and Hawaii
Volcanoes National Park with Kilauea, one of the world's most
active volcanoes, is less than 45 minutes away. A 3 mile
drive to downtown takes you to multi-cultural restaurants,
shops, theatres, churches and our finest Farmer's Market. Come
